HGV Class 1 Drivers
Job description
Would you like to work for a friendly family run haulage business? The company was established in 1954 and operates throughout the UK. We are now looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our driving team on a permanent basis.
This company has an industry leading reputation for looking after our HGV Class 1 drivers. You can expect clear organisation, a respectful transport office, a clean and modern fleet, plus many other benefits.
The Roles are available for Immediate Start!
- HGV Class 1 Distance with nights out, full time, permanent
- Salary £41,000.00 to £44,000.00 per annum including overtime
- Up to £200 per month safe/efficient driving bonus
- Crewe based
- Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings running in.
Key Duties
- Supervising loading and unloading of the vehicle
- Carrying out all necessary checks on the vehicle
- Completing all relevant paperwork
About you:
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible attitude to working hours
- A good understanding of driver’s hours legislation, tachograph procedures
- Must hold a full Class C+E driving licence and valid DCPC card

Experience
