HGV Class 1 Driver – Distance with Nights Out

Work for a friendly family run haulage business, that has been established since 1954, this company has an industry leading reputation for looking after their employees. Operating throughout the UK, we are now looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our driving team on a permanent basis. You can expect clear organisation, a respectful transport office and a clean and modern fleet.

This is the role:

• HGV Class 1 Drivers, Distance with nights out, full time, permanent
• Earnings up to £51,750.00 per annum including overtime
• Up to £200 per month safe/efficient driving bonus
• £5.00 tax free daily meal allowance
• Crewe based
• Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings running in, shifts available
• Tuesday to Saturday, shifts available

Key duties:

• Supervising loading and unloading of the vehicle
• Carrying out all necessary checks on the vehicle
• Completing all relevant paperwork

About you:

• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible attitude to working hours
• A good understanding of driver’s hours legislation, tachograph procedures
• Must hold a full Class C+E driving licence and valid DCPC card

Experience:

• Driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle: 1 year (preferred)
• Driver CPC
